Hunting scene.
I think I have decided to do this old school, with that in mind I'm asking for those with experience in shooting bobcats and/or coyotes this question. I've falling back in love with lever guns, the calibers I am considering are the 32-20, .218 Bee and the 22-250. Give me the good the bad and the ugly.
Also where can I find one under $1000 ?

Also what call should I buy with a $250 budget?

Thanks for any helps.

I actually have a winchester lever action in 218bee. $1000.00 wouldn't even come close cause of sentimetal value. Ammo is very expensive and hard to find.
Your best bet would be a 22-250 in a bolt action.Ammo is readily available but I would choose a 223 instead.
Hey I know you said lever action but the caliber in a lever action is limited.

I have coyote hunted many years and I would go with the 22-250, they are harder to kill than people think, especially looking at you, and I have shoot many as I am looking around and see one sitting facing me that has slipped in. Good Luck
