We had a big ice storm luckly all my stands survived the falling limbs and trees. Our woods look like they have been clear cut there is so many limbs and trees down. I figure it will help with the cover for the deer. THe deer i am afraid will move totaly differnt than normal. What do i need to do. Can i cut some trails to help put them close to my stands or what.

That right Bob. I cut trails in really thick stuff just to put a camera over it. They use it more than you could imagine if trail is placed in the right location. Now is the best time to do it too.

If it were my farm i would start cutting it up, rickin it , and sell for firewood. Thats money laying on the ground you could put back into the farm with plots and tree planting from firewood sells. Mother nature just opened up your canopy for you ,.. i see no need to leave it all in a total mess if you can get some money out of some of it.
