I have a 20 foot blazer with a 225 mercury opti max and a 27 pitch prop on it. When my live wells are full it takes a while to plan out. So I would love to go to a 26 and I would like to go just alittle bit faster or maybe a four blade. What go you guys think I should do?

Go to Bass Boat Central, a web forum like this and ask this question in the Blazer boat forum. No two different makes of boats are gonna do the same... better to get opinions from someone with this boat.

I have a 20 foot Skeeter with Yamaha VMAX 225 and 27 pitch prop. It jumps out the hole and on plane with livewells full and a full tank of gas. It could be something as simple as moving your jack plate to get the results needed... that's a lot cheaper than spending $500 on a new prop.

If you go to a 26, you may get out of the hole quicker, but top end will slow down unless you are having trouble turning rpm's with the 27. Four blades are great for performance(hole shot and turning), but not the greatest for top end.
