National Cornbread Festival April 26-27

Lodge Cast Iron is just down the road from the saltmine in South Pittsburg.

FiveStar, a division of Brown Stove Works, Inc., will again team with Lodge Cast Iron and Martha White this year to sponsor and host the 18th annual National Cornbread Cook-Off Competition, which will be held during the National Cornbread Festival on April 26-27, in South Pittsburg, Tn.

Yea I heard about it yesterday, the state won't let us close down a lane of I24 west just east of the nickajack this weekend because of it. Must be expecting a big crowd.

South Pittsburg has a population of around 3,500 people - there's typically 40,000 + who attend the festival.

yea, there will be quit a few people on the roads traveling then. They won't have to deal with our construction and a one lane interstate so that will be good.

I bet businesses in South Pittsburg do well this weekend.

I just got really hungry: Imagine having the NCF and the Memphis in May barbecue festival in the same place same time.
