So true. A bow is worth half of what you pay for it next year. Unless you find a sucker on Archery Talk that is stupid enough to pay for it.dmitchell28":eigihxba said:Na I wouldn't give my Colt away lol...guns keep their value..bows always loose value...but I did think hard about it

It looks good. Not as good as the black one pictured here though. In person, it looks like the Alpine bows from early 2000. That's what it reminded me of. I didn't shoot it...it was 30" draw and way too long to get a proper feel for. Rumor is...they have another bow or two to be revealed at the ATA show, and speculation is a longer A-A based on ChillX specs.
I've never seen Mathews at the ATA. They have their own dealer show. I've never been but heard ppl talk that it was a bad azz show though.Pinwheeled":35urlf5a said:Crow Terminator":35urlf5a said:I handled one yesterday at the shop. I like the sound of that. Chill-X is a really nice rig. I didn't think Mathews went to the ATA though. Don't they have their own deal for dealers and stuff?

The first bow that has both blazing speeds and is incredibly smooth. In the past when choosing a bow you had to pick speed or smoothness. I will promise you this is the smoothest bow of the many I have ever shot. The 63lb 27in draw floor model I shot streamed em down range at 335fps with not a least tiny bit of vibration. My buddy said he was getting close to 350 at 70lb with 30in draw. A dozen shots had me sold. Never been as excited to soon to be dialing in my own.
Agreed! At 27" & 63# it shouldn't be shooting 335 unless the arrow is lighter than 5 grs per lb.bowhunter163":27zh7iwj said:Poleaxe":27zh7iwj said:I shot a Halon today and the performance outweighs the looks. 63 lbs. At a 27" draw shooting 335 ? Nowhere near what we are seeing them shoot . Even with an IBO weight arrow . I would like to see the set up and what weight arrow you all are shooting .
I understand the 70lber at 30" shooting close to 350 with an IBO weight arrow .
