Well I moved to Columbia from Hickman county and had no place to hunt so a friend of mine told me I could hunt his 10 acres well come to find out its only about 6 hunt able acres the rest is fields in front of his house. So I put up a camera not expecting to get much and I was wrong got pics of a decent eight and another smaller buck and several does.My friends wife only wants me to kill bucks because she says its not fair to the does cause they come around the house and pay them no attention when the go out to look at them. I can respect that its her land but I did discuss the benefits of shooting some does but she didn't change her mind. I was bummed at first because my family eats every piece of meat I put in the freezer, then I got to thinking about how this could make me a more patient hunter . See the buck I have pics of might be 120 class maybe but is bigger than anything I have killed and none of the land around me gets hunted as far as the owner knows and I don't hear shots while hunting. So with me not shooting and waiting on that one buck I have seen six different bucks and many does and I'm really enjoying the time I spend in my stand I built that by the way is the best stand I have spent money on .
