i went to florida last week and shot this hog with my pistol
 
the dog smelt the hog. we then drove into the palmeto's and flushed him out, then the chace began. we finnally caught up with the hog and while he was on the side of the buggy running i shot it

no, the fellow on the buggys is a good friend on mine and his good friend billy (in the pic with me) is the property manager for lykes brothers (36k acres) in florida. to be a member there its 16.5K a year. and no atv's allowed and that doesnt include a place to stay of a buggy
 
Is that around the Lake Placid / Sebring area? That's where I grew up we used to be able to hunt Lykes Brothers land for Free when I was a kid. Man how times have changed.

southeast of lake placid maybe 10 miles. its actually right outside brighton, fl.

Grew up huntin the "OLD" Fisheating Creek WMA around Palmdale.
 
Nice hog. Huntin from a swamp buggy going through the palmetto bushes from hammock to hammock & around cabbage palms is a whole different world from TN. Congrats.
