I began a new era today, I'm now reloading my own ammo, started with some .243 today, it looks right, guess I won't know for sure until I shoot some of it!

I spent the rainy Sunday loading up three new loads of .308 and three new loads of .260 to try out.
What I do is load 5 to 10 rounds of the starting load from the manual, then the same number of a grain higher, then the same number a grain higher than that. Then shoot them all, starting with the lightest load, and make sure everything is safe before going higher. Whichever load is most accurate, I load a few more at that load, a half grain lower, and a half grain higher. That way I can zero in on an accurate load, without risking loading up a bunch or rounds that will need to be pulled and re-done.
Have fun!

I never change more than one thing at a time without testing it,
