Same question here. Only thing I can think of is if he has a record and can't own certain firearms. Think the #11 caps are viewed different. Oh well it doesn't matter so as mentioned previously the earlier Knight muzzleloaders use them. I had one (T-5 Woodsman) that I bought back in the early to mid 90's that my brother-in-law owns now. Very good guns so have him look for a Knight. Think another model is LK93.
