Other issues to weigh include
just what are you getting in return for what you are paying?

100 pics a month for $6.99,
but what happens when you hit that 100 in the first 36 hours of a monthly plan?

Do HD pics cost extra? Cost of extra videos?

But don't overlook the abilities and reliability of the cam itself.

The more I look at those Browning wireless Pros for 199, the more I like them. Great battery life and nice options for sure. If someone would run a 169 sale, I'd buy a couple despite the ugly camo color they have.

The new Ridgelines are only $20 more. But that camera takes like 16 batteries vs. 8 for the Pro

$9.99 will get you 1000 low res pics per cam. I think you can choose to just add 100 more pics for a couple bucks if you don't normally need to step up your plan.

It just does not look good. I know that seems stupid since I will not even rarely see it and has zero effect on function!
I have one that seems to have been bleached by the sun. I can see it in the pitch black of night hanging on a tree. I've been meaning to duct tape the camera and sensors, and spray paint the rest. Will probably do that this weekend.

Update: I put the camera out in the field. It still takes whiteout pics at dawn and dusk (still waiting on the firmware update). Moultrie customer service did reach out to me to talk about the issue.

Night time pics are alright. For the price point of this camera, I'm happy with them. The IR flash and/or sensor is much better than the 7000i. 7000i claims 80ft flash range. It isn't half that.

Delta on the left. These are both low res pictures. I haven't downloaded any high res off the delta yet.

As soon as I get some decent daylight pics, I'll let you see them also.

I just did some messing around with my new Delta in the backyard and found what you had found with the range. Moultrie claims 80 foot detection and flash range. I could not get the thing to trigger unless I was inside 30 feet. This ain't too bad if your hanging it low and close to a feeder or mineral. But I'm all public land so I usually am hanging 10+ feet high in travel corridors. All my SPYPOINT cams and Bigfoot cams have 80 foot trigger ranges very reliably. Also here is a pic for quality reference. I am 30 feet from cam. Any further and no triggers.
