Mossberg pistol grip?

Thinking of getting a pistol grip for my 835. Anyone have experience with this, pros & cons. I've been looking at the phoenix tactical

I prefer a pistol grip on my turkey guns. I find one much easier to hold for extended periods of time.

I have the 835 Mossberg Turkey Thug w/Pistol Grip. I love mine and as stated above it is easier to hold for extended periods of time and for me it seems to keep my head down when shooting

Do you mean Mesa Tactical? If so, I have one of their adjustable pistol grip stocks on an 870 and really like it. Kid friendly too.

Much steadier and helps or eliminates the dreaded cheek slap

Correct, that does get tricky at times as your hand is on the grip my safety is on top of gun.
