more tests on the B&C reticle

my brother has an 8 inch gong behind his house,,I rode my 4 wheeler to 550 yards and with the first shot on the bottom dot,I thought I had missed but about 3-4 seconds latter I heard the KABANG echoing back,,so I backed up to 600 and put the fat part of the bottom wire on the gong,,which according to the manual ought to be right there,,and squeezed one off and sure enough,about 4 full seconds after the shot I heard the KABANG again,,

I sure wish I could afford about 8 pounds of Rl22 and 500 178 AMAX bullets,,so I could get used to the M1 knobs,,

Question for you. Im looking for new glass to put on my 300 RUM. Where did you find the M1 with a B&C reticle?

it is a VX III long range 30mm tube 40mm lens with side focus,,it was sent back to Leupold`s custom shop for the reticle and the knobs

elevation and windage M1's from Leupold Custom Shop = $130 and two weeks....
