more shootin 5r 223 and 280 ai

had a good day of shooting

the 280 ai is a dream to shoot just lights out accuracy

found a good load with 140 accubond over n165 62.7 @ 3153 fps

5 shot group with 59.9 re26 @ 2990 fps i pulled the first shot

I also found a good load but slower 70 accubond virgin laupa brass no prep not even sized
federal BR primer good dose of win 748
3085 fps

I know there are many factors to shooting these groups. How long do you wait between shots when you are at the range

i cant shoot for crap just great equipment. 5-10-15 minutes the barrel must be cool

the 223 has a bull barrel i can wait less in 90 degree weather i soak a rag in ice water and wrap it around barrel to cool it between shots

the key to accuracy is simple

good glass
great trigger

any one can do these 2 with their rifles it will make more difference than anything

good bullets and reloading practices

and last but not least a great barrel
