After reading Football Hunter's thread about big smallies, I though I'd post this pic from a Pickwick trip last year. This was in April and caught my buddy Steve Parks who happens to be the inventor/designer of the Rage Tail line for Strike King. We were fishing the next couple of days after the Elite series guys were there last year. This monster was caught on a T-rigged Rage Tail craw. Ended up with 43 smallmouth that day between 3 guys.

My wife hooked up on a 6.5 pounder on wilson lake in april. I think that went down as one of my most memorable fishing trips.

Thats awesome,Ive released every largemouth Ive caught,and every small mouth for that matter,for at least 10 years,but that one would be in my den.

Yep. Tn license covers all the way to the mouth of bear creek in Alabama if I remember correct. I rarely fish down that far south though, just because it would take me forever to get there in my bass tracker with a 40 on it. Lol!

Aint sayin I disagree! He used to guide on Lake Fork in Texas and has probably caught more double digit fish than anybody I know. I wasn't surprised that he released it.

Yeah,but he hasnt caught many double digit smallies,or many 8 pounders I bet.My wife thinks Im cracking up on my small mouth hysteria. :)
