Monday morning squirrel hunt.

Me and Redblood went this morning and it was a very slow morning. It was humid andthe squirrels weren't moving good at all. I went to a known good spot and Redblood tried some new unproven ground. I shot a limit and lost 2. Redblood found that the new spot was a bust killing three and losing one.

one of the worst squirrel hunts in my life. very tough hunting for sure. something aint right yet. hillbilly did very well. headed to a new spot in the morn. hope for better results.

I think the deer have educated the squirrels and now they know it is squirrel season :grin:

I have several rocks in the edge of the woods behind my house. It is a convenient place to take phots and on deer and turkeys I have a good background instead of the back of the truck.

I had to use vacation time to go Monday, had a good time even though it was very humid.
