Alaska or bust!
I have a basic Minn Kota 12 volt on the transom of my Jon boat. Battery is fully charged. The battery sensor on the motor shows it is fully charged.
I can turn the throttle either direction but nothing happens. Been awhile since I used it. Is there another switch to turn on first?

I'm far from a trolling motor mechanic but I would think bad switch, head or shear pin. Shear pin would be easiest to assess first.

Will the prop turn by hand easily?

And, you might pull the prop off and make sure you don't have something tangled around the shaft that holds the prop on. I get fishing line wrapped up in there from time to time and have to pull the prop off and clear the mess out. Next thing I'd check is continuity on both wires from the battery to the motor. Easy to have a wire corroded at the terminal, loose terminal wire, bad fuse(if you have one in the loop), or a break somewhere in between. Those are the easiest things to check for me, and probably among the most common things to have trouble with.
