Those motors were made by Tohatsu, I had a 6hp and have a 30 now. Tohatsus are about bulletproof, best motor for the money imo. Gasman's right, good deal.
The more you read online who knows who makes what lol.
I wonder if it could be converted to a jet ?
Possibly BUT you would need to use it on a kayak to make it useful. I'd imagine after the power loss of the jet. You would be sitting at about 8-9hp.
