Rifle was manufactured in 1986. It's in great condition, especially for a 39 year old rifle. I haven't took the butt pad off but the original butt plate is still there and everything underneath it looks just as good as the rest of the rifle. Comes with 1 box of 150 grain bullets that has 17 in it. 3 full boxes of 170 grain, 1 box of 170 grain has 17 in the box.$900. Would be interested in trading for a JM Stamped in .35 cal or a Remington BDL wood stock preferably in .270 or 30-06.

Marlin 30AS. I have same exact rifle. From same era. Possibly from same year. I can't remember. It's a shooter.

I have the same one, maybe a very few years older. I put a Swarovski 2.5-10x42 on it. My wife and I still use it constantly during deer season. Extremely accurate deer killing machine.
Only real difference is that the wood on mine is beat up. This thing is clean.

Many folks describe the AW as the 336 with "working man's clothes on" . The second sentence seems to be "extremely accurate ".

It's about as close to an identical twin to my 1980 30-30 as I can get. A little rougher shape than the 30-30 I had listed but not too bad. I honestly kind of like the wear on it beings it's a 57 year old gun.
