We bought my youngest son one of these Marlin 15YN Li'l buckaroo when he was very young and they are great little rifles. They shoot great they're very durable pretty much just a miniature of an adult rifle. These went out of production in 2003.
Having 3 granddaughters (ages 4, 6 & 7) I thought I'd get them all one and fix them up "girlie style" and maybe they will keep them forever and remember where they came from!
I found a dealer on GB that had these three for sale individually that had been Boy Scout (BSA) owned in Oregon so that was my starter package. I bought three pinkish hydrodipping kits and did self inflicted camo dip of each. While there is lots of fault to find with the finish work, it is what it is at this point and I hope/think they will think they are just great! Maybe one day I can get them together for a pose picture of them holding these.

Honestly a major upgrade IMO! Not to knock the old originals, just not my flavor of wood. You did great and I'm sure they will love them!
