Word is that Marion Ray James, Co-founder of Bowhunter Magazine has officially retired-hung up his bows. Due to bad shoulders, he can no longer pull his bow and has retired as not just a bowhunter but from his posts at Pope and Young and The Archery Hall of Fame.
M.R. is one of bowhunting's most ardent supporters and a visionary of the sport. Unfortunately, the shoulder problem that hits so many of us found him. I feel fortunately to count him as a friend and the sport and industry will greatly miss him.
