If you've had salsa verde you've had tomatillo.

The lack of fruit on the tomatillos may not be a pollination problem. My limited experience is they will flower but not set fruit until the plants get really big. It seems like they take forever to start fruiting and then explode with fruit overnight.

It's getting there. I think mine ended last year about 8-10 ft tall and as wide also. There comes a point where the plant growth slows down as the fruit production ramps up.

Yes, on a trellis. Although, I don't think it's necessary.
