Needing a low recoil load for my wife's Model 7. It's sub-moa with 120gr Nosler BTs in front of 43gr Varget but wondering if anyone has a specific load they like for the recoil sensitive. This rifle is super lightweight with a 2-7 scope. Average ranges would be 100 yds or less. Thanks.

My Wife is an accurate shot and does not mind recoil. However, she bruises and the bruising is totally out.

What I did is I bought a PAST recoil pad and she wears it under her shirt. Protects from bruising. Also with no pain and decent ear protection the shooter tends to be able to overcome flinching.

I have two or three of them and at the range always use them. Highly recommended.

So I got lazy and picked up a box of the Hornady Custom lite loaded in 120gr SST. Went to range today in the rain. I think she'll be happy. Recoil was noticeably lighter and shot right around 1" (didn't measure but know its close).
