Was kinda surprised to see a Korth NightHawk Custom on the list.
Is it possible to get a great deal at something like this or very unlikely?

If it's an auction there always a chance for a deal.
I've been to a few of their sales and most of the time they go pretty high with several bidders. One may sneak thru every now and then but not the norm on what I have seen regarding firearms. But I still go to them.
And then if you "win", you normally have to go to the FFLs place in Charlotte after the complete auction is over and pay $25 or 35 (I cant remember) for EACH one you buy for the background check. Or you can schedule time to pick up on a later date. I'm not fond of the same price for each one bought. Some of the other auctions use FFLs that charge $25 for 1 and $10 for each additional ones bought

It all comes down to how common your taste in firearms is and where they come up in the batting order
My vote is for very unlikely
I put auctions in the same category of gun shows, unless you're a vendor. Vendors get all the good stuff the day before.
VERY unlikely. It's not uncommon for guns to sell for much more than their true value.
Still fun to go to. I keep hoping to win a jewel at a paupers price. Probably never happen.
Don't forget .. garage sale at my place starting in 5 months and 26 daysI'm afraid I'd itch my nose and end up "winning" a high dollar item. Been to a car auction but that's a lot easier for me cause I don't collect cars. If I wanted to part with a couple thousand bucks, I'd just swing by my buddy @Kimber45 place.

The Remington 550-1 and Ithica model 37 both caught my eye.

I try to let my Son know which ones are family hand-me-downs from my grandparents etc.
I've got several in our family trust for the kids. The rest, I told my wife to post in the classifieds
"Come get your guns back sale"

I've been to these sales that Charles Woodard does every so often and they are packed with buyers and also people that just want to watch, a good deal might sneak thru but for the most part everything is overpriced.
