I see both "pros" & "cons" to the idea.
At the present time, mostly "cons" in Tennessee, but can see maybe more "pros" in some Northeastern urban areas where deer hunting is not so popular and they have real over-population problems.
A side benefit COULD become less appeal to the idea of commercial deer "farming" (for the purpose of selling the meat for consumption)? At the same time, those of the deer-farming mentality COULD demand the right to sell venison for food?
And in those urban areas, it's also possible that the idea of deer hunting (for both food & sport) could gain traction?
Proceed cautiously with this one.
