I've handled both, and they are to square/blocky for me.I like a gun that has curves and fits in your hand..Not one that feels like your holding a brick!

I have a minty Glock 32 357 Sig that I have just about decided on sellin or trading.

I have always been a wheel gun guy,I may keep the Glock as it is a fight stopper for sure,,but I would like a Model 19 2 1/2 inch 357,

the Airweight J Frames are nice also..

Agreed. I had a glock 27 .40 and sold it but I did like it. My carry gun is a S&W model 642 Airweight in .38 loaded with 38+P bullets. I like the semi-autos for just shooting but with the revolver if it doesn't go off for whatever reason just keep pulling the trigger and you don't have to worry about jamming.

I have or have had Glock 21 and 30, 1911s, Beretta 92s and a few in between. My favorite carry weapon now is my S&W 642 Airweight in 38+P. Double action, hammerless 5 shot revolver. Lightweight, the 5 rounds of ammo weigh almost as much as the pistol. VERY easy to conceal and draw and fits my hand like a glove. Surprisingly accurate(3" group at 50feet the 2nd time I emptied the cylinder). I can now put all 5 shots in 1 1/2" at 50 feet despite the DA trigger pull. No safety to fumble with, no slide to jam, not picky with ammo, just goes BANG every time I pull the trigger. YMMV

I like my Kahr P9. It's thinner and easier to conceal than my S&W 342 and it's never failed to fire when I pulled the trigger.

The new Ruger LC9 looks pretty neat too. Just about the same size as the Kahr but cheaper.

another glock 26/27 fan here. i've traded around a lot but have had the g27 about 3 years now. they just released a gen 4 model with a different grip but i havnt handled one yet.

I love the XD! I have a 4" Service model and would pick it over my Duty Glock 22 any day. I just got me a Taurus 740 Slim for one of my conceal carry guns. I'm also buyin my fiance a XD Subcompact for her conceal carry gun.

Havnt handled an XD but I do have a G26.
If you want a safety, go with the XD.
If you dont want to deal with a safety go with the Glock.

In the end, you have to be comfortable and familiar with it. Nothing like firing 2000 rounds (no more than 4 rounds fired at one time) in a week of draw and fire from a G22 to get you familiar with it.

S&W model 638. 38 Spcl J frame with a shrouded hammer, it won't snag, but you can still shoot it single action.
