My Neighbor is looking for a remington 700 muzzleloader in black or stainless, in good shape, for a reasonable price.

PM me with what you have, and how much you need for it.

Tried to get him to buy a Knight, but he is not schooled in the ways of the Jedi. :D

Remingtons are still a good priced gun and with the 209 conversion bolt nose you have something that will shoot BH209 and very accurate for low bucks. Cost is going up and 45s are harder to find than 50s. Stainless even harder. Good price for 50 in blue is bout 200 bucks. Stainless in 45 will go for about 350.

Quite a few of these recently have been snatched up to build a smokeless ML with by ordering a custom barrel and swapping the old one out.

I have a 700ml blue 50 cal NEW never loaded or fired. Have a 3 x 9 x 40 bushnell scope on it. I have powder 777 pellets,209 primers and bullets and other stuff.

If you were closer we might would make a deal around 250.

What he said, excellent guns to build a smokeless with, I'd say that alone is what is making them kind of a hot commodity.
