loading for 30-30

I don't crimp my 30-30 loads as I have been shooing a single shot I am going to load for a leaver gun. Is it resly nessary to crimp fot it?

I would think so if your using a tube mag,,never tried it without crimping.so you might could I just never tried it.

Yes. Some sort of crimp is necessary to prevent the bullets from being pushed into the case upon recoil in a tube magazine.

I always crimped just to be on the safe side. I don't have it anymore but used to load a lot of .30-30 ammo. Mostly 150-170 gr.
