Lining broadheads with fletchings

It makes no difference at all . I use 4 blade heads with 3 fletchings on the arrows . It is much more important to make sure the inserts are seated square in the shaft by spin testing the arrows . Any heads that wobble should be set off to the side and used for field points .
What happens is that the ends of the shaft can be cut a little off square , thus throwing off the insert alignment when it is pressed against the end cut .
Some proshops get sloppy when they zip through and cut a bunch of shafts too quick . I like to cut mine , then double check them with a G5 squaring device .

I'm with Radar. Not necessary. However, it requires little effort and it won't hurt anything. So, if it will give you a little bit more confidence. Go ahead and do it.
