Setting up my first crossbow, and after watching some videos, I definitely want some type of lighted nock.

Looking for recommendations.

Thanks!

There aren't that many brands but I've always used illuminocks. Make sure you follow the instructions and they fit correctly. Some sanding will be required. If you get a clean pass thru they can be reused. You will recover more bolts than without. Also make sure you shoot them a couple times with broadheads to insure they fly true.

This is crucial.

Lumenoks fly true and group well out of mine, but they hit a foot to the right at 30 yrs vs regular nocks w/field points.

Never, I repeat NEVER believe it when broadhead/nock manufacturers say they hit exactly like field points.
Just like rifle ammo, everything is affected with different setups.

Was sure happy my Victory arrow had Lumenok Thursday evening as I watched my biggest xbow buck run off with that red nok flaming away. Finding it again when help arrived was also nice to see that red beacon marking my buck.
Good luck .
