Lifetime Sportsman License, Trout Fishing

I have a question maybe someone knows. My son is 5 and we bought him the lifetime Sportsman Licence a couple of years ago. He hasn't ever needed it yet but I was going to take him trout fishing and was wondering do I get the annual paper copy if its needed. He does have the certificate from Twra at home.

The licenses won't be required until he is 13. If you take him where a permit is required, you can get a duplicate paper copy of the license. Or, a photo copy of his certificate should work until he gets his permanent license.
