Am I the only one getting the itch. Can't wait to get after them, especially in a new area.

I am doing everything I can to get there. 4 more weeks and it's on!!!! Starting my season in August with the velvet hunt. Headed to Ky the following 3 weekends. Then off to Ohio for there opener (yeah I'm not gonna be here for statewide opener) but I'll be headed here after to start dialing in for pre-rut/rut. In the event I can't fill my Ohio tag I'll head back there first week of November. Then it will be a game time decision on ky or Tn week to week depending through the close of both seasons depending on what my gut tells me. If I still have the stamina, and my wife isn't threatening me lol, then I'll head down to Bama for a Jan/Feb rut hunt or two.

Can't wait. The velvet hunt will really kick it off for me in 4 weeks. The weekend following that I am headed out to CO for archery elk and trout fishing for 2 weeks. The weekend following my return from CO is the opener here. However, I won't be hunting here until it cools off, hopefully in October.
