Buddy asked if I wanted in on the LBL hunt so I said sure. We got drawn for Area 16. I have turkey hunted there but have never been there to deer hunt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nov. 13-14 rifle hunt

Just find a nice place close to the road with an easy walk. Rent a cabin or a room at the Dover Inn and walk in later than everyone else. If you overthink it or try to get away from the hunters you will regret it. I hiked 4 miles into area 15 last year only to have two old dudes walk right past me at 8:30am. Be the old dudes.

You have to accept that people are going to walk in on you. The best bet is to sit all day as the other hunters will kick deer up as they leave late morning and return early afternoon
