Good luck .my group has five points
Maybe a total of 5 points between you. But no one individual should have that many points in the LBL draw. You can normally get drawn with 2 points and sometimes 1.

Re: LBL QUOTA HUNT DRAW RESULTS

Had to pass on it this year. Should have put in for a point though. Too much going on and got drawn for another hunt anyways.

Re: LBL QUOTA HUNT DRAW RESULTS

We got drawn last year so we just put in for a point this year. Planning a bow hunting trip though at some point in the season.

Congratulations to all of you who got selected for the hunt. It's always a good idea to scout your area before the hunt, and always have a few back up spots in case someone is already hunting the spot you originally wanted to hunt.

I got area 12 nov 13/14 , any info would be greatly appreciated, I have never hunted there before! PM box is empty ;)

Also if some of you are wondering about maps, there are some good maps on the LBL website. You can also purchase good maps at the Golden Pond Visitor Center, the North and South Welcome Stations, and some of the campgrounds.

It is important to read all of the rules or contact LBL if you have any questions. Flagging Tape/ Trail Marking Tape is NOT allowed in LBL. This is one rule some people don't seem to realize during the hunts, people scout and put up flagging tape/ Trail Marking Tape to mark places to park, and to mark trails and other places. This is NOT allowed in LBL.

Stay on numbered roads, people can NOT drive down power lines, gas lines, logging roads etc.

It's also a good idea to park on the side of the road that you are going to be hunting. This way there may not be any confusion on where people are hunting.

Yeah the first year we bow hunted lbl a few years ago my dad and I was hunting close to a couple fields and a guy drove back and parked about 50 yards from my dad and walked in he killed a deer and drove on back the field and loaded it up

I comes and goes depending on where you are. This past Turkey season I was smack dab in the middle of Area 15 on the North South Trail and was sitting on Facebook. Get in the truck and drive down The Trace and have no service.

I wouldnt bank on GPS on your phone

People mark the trail with reflective tacks as they go back to their truck. The next morning when they turn on their lights they see dozens and dozens of old tacks all over the place.

My son got 11 this year.
I got a point but killed a nice 8 point off 11 on last years quota, looking for the same luck for him this year! Good Luck everyone.
