I live in Lawrence County and have been seeing some small bucks chase but the big boys just don't seem to be at it yet. Had a little four point chasing around me all morning yesterday should be good this coming week

I hunt Southern Giles and Northern Limestone mostly. Best dates are from about December 1st -14th. Thanksgiving week is normally pretty good too.

There's a spot somewhere around Lutz few other smaller places that goes down into about half of Lauderdale County in AL in which it's in December. I've been talking to a lot of folks today, and I think Lutz/Collinwood/Cypress Inn may be the line.

I live in southern Lawrence county and I have yet to see any sign of any rut, like ingo said I've heard a few people talk of small ones chasing but it should be good this week.

Im wandering if ingo can figure out who I am lol...

Where is the line between the more prevalently-timed rut and that section of south TN and NW AL where the rut pushes December?

Where I live, I believe is right on that line I see bucks chasing from Thanksgiving on into February

Hopefully they start rutting this coming week. Finally got to take leave. I'll be in tomorrow. We'll see if ingo can figure you out rock lol.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to go on the quota hunt at Laurel Hill. Sounds like it ought to be worth a shot, from what y'all are saying.
