Latest trip to the White River

[RUGER]

I was lucky enough that woodyard would put up with me again and guide me on the White River at Calico Rock Arkansas this past weekend.
I can honestly say this is one of my favorite places I have ever been.
We got on the water about 10:30 Thursday morning.
The ultimate guide was ready to go.

Just an absolutely beautiful place to be.

Same spot, little different view the next morning.

Loved the colors on this one.

Always a treat to get a brown, even a small one.

This was the last fish I caught and was also the largest one I got.
15 1/2" and fought like a ton!

We had an assortment for supper every night.
Burgers, pork steaks and ribeyes.
We decided carbs didn't matter this weekend either.

Over the course of 3 days we boated 126 trout and lost probably half that many. LOL

I agree with everything he said about your cooking though. Chef Mires does a great job.
