Last Hunt Of The Season

Last day and we almost did not go. We got in the boat at 11:00 AM and barely made it through the thick ice to the blind. We opened a good hole and started the mallard machine up to keep it open. Not every duck worked the hole but enough did for five of us to kill twenty mallards and one lonely wood duck. We were back on the bank at 4:20 PM.
