I've been able to hunt a little around my work schedule all week. Came close the past 2 evenings and figured there might be a deer in the same spot this evening. So when I got home from work early at 3:45 pm I hit the field and sat in the brush on edge of the woods. Little over an hour later noticed this nanny feeding about 40 yards or so up the field edge. I shoulda killed one on this property a while ago but I've either screwed up or been in young bucks I didn't want to shoot. Finally got that big doe I wanted for the grinder to close out the season. Headed to Mississippi in a couple days and then after that it's time to fish.
