My 8 year old killed a Jake last year, but wanted to kill a longbeard this year. He has hunted hard this season. He's went with me on every hunt I've been on but three hunts. He's had a few close calls, two misses, both of those I'll chalk up as my fault as the guide. But yesterday, last day of the season, it finally all came together. He dropped the hammer on the 410 on this big Tom. His first longbeard. He learned a valuable lesson on sticking with it and so did I!
