Laser built in to my red dot?

I have a tactical looking red dot scope for my slug gun that has a laser pointer type light built in....

I see where it is illegal to possess anything that may illuminate & help to see game so I am pretty sure my red dot would be ok on my slug gun.....
Oh, the red dot can be turned off and it can be used as a laser pointer alone...... Just making sure...
Am I okay?
