I've used it in East TN several times. Probably withstands grazing pressure better than soybeans and cowpeas, but I don't think deer like it as much. I use it some because it is drought tolerant and available for them in late summer when my soybeans have been eaten. Plant with grain sorghum and it will climb up the stalks.

Eagle beams are the only way to go in my humble option. They are high but worth every penny! I had one plot that was about 5 1/2 acres and about 3 1/2 or 4 acres made beans agin last yr. The amount of foreage produced was insane!!!

Chart1300-- After talking with several veterans I decided to go with the Eagle "Game Keeper" Blend. I too have seen impressive 2nd gen stands of eagle beans. Excited to see if we can keep the deer out of them long enough to get them growing tall. Any outside the box ideas on how to keep the deer out? I am planting 4+ acres in a high density area. This plot is close to the house, so I have a reasonable power source.
