11-17-18 - It was an interesting morning. I had deer blowing as I walked in and got settled. Had two flocks of hen turkeys that were fighting with each other. Had a 6pt and an 8pt walk in right around day break.
Then I killed this joker at around 7 yards at 6:50. He snuck in checked a scrape and then hit a licking branch and I shot him with a Savage 30-06 using 150gr core-lokt taking out both lungs. He ran down hill toward my truck about 150 yards or so. I was able to drive up the logging road and load him up. It was a good day to be in the woods.
