Kentucky vs Louisville basketball

I can't believe the resident Wildcat fans haven't posted about this one yet. Guess they're gonna be like bama football fans and be silent after a loss. j/k so don't get your panties in a wad. I'm not a big basketball fan and don't care either way but did catch parts of it. At the end Louisville tried to keep Kentucky in it when they were getting fouled and missed 7 straight.

The exhibition win over the "No 1" team may have been misleading, especially when they lost an exhibition game to Georgetown also. It wasn't mentioned either.

Now, I will say that I fully expect them to be a contender in March. Cal was a master at dropping early games, but then the team would gel as the season progressed.

Louisville has a really good front court. Turnovers killed Ky. Ky will experience some growing pains and losses through the season, but COULD make a run in March. Defense was a let down

I was expecting a close game but Louisville shocked me on how good and big they are. They'll be tough if they continue to get better.

Louisville and KY are always a big rivalry game with a lot of emotions. When I lived in Louisville they would shut the city down for the game.
Will be fun to watch as both teams progress through the season.

KY got spanked again. They have some good players and just have to figure out how to play together and what works. I'm still glad Pope is there and will support him no matter how the season goes.
