That's some high scores some of you guys are giving out. I bet he grosses somewhere between 115-118. Put a tape on him and let us know. Congrats on the deer.
 
115 range. I would guess you meant to say he weighed 195 lbs. I've killed 300 pound deer and their head/face and neck were much bigger than your picture but its not the best picture to really see his true size so maybe he did but I think your scale was off by 100 pounds.

I don't know how a deer is scored and that is the reason that I ask the question in the first place. Did not go on here to tell a lie. Thanks to all the hunters who have responded to me in a prefessional manner.

Was 290 live weight? They grow them big up there for sure. Congrats on the deer. Dont take the skepticism personally. Deer hunters naturally tend to embelish, particularly on this site, so everyone around here is skeptical.

As for scoring it, google boon and crockett scoring and you should find a guide. Its pretty simple.
