I was zeroing the Redfield Palma sight at 50 yards and JW was playin with the dog and asked me to get out the Brno Model 3S, the set trigger rifle, as he calls it,I didnt want to move 4-5 rifles to get to it and he finally sit down and shot a target with the 455,,
we were shooting SK Standard Plus ammo with the Palma sight with Gehmann Iris set at 0.9mm and the Kimber front globe with Anschutz Iris at 3.7mm

I will let yall decided who shot which target,

I'm thinking JW shot the first target. Groups are a hair larger. Glad to see him wearing hearing protection.

That sure don't look anything like my 455, however I do have a new tactical stock and a bedding kit for it and a bull barrel on the way. :)

it is the CZ 455 action, bolt, bolt handle and trigger blade,,everything else has been upgraded,

from the action outward,,
Brno steel magwell with mag release removed
CZ 452 poly single shot adapter with the bottom cut off
DIP adjustable sear
JNP high speed firing pin spring
JNP 8 ounce trigger spring
DIP solid bottom metal with no cutout for mag
Don Stith Classic Bench Rest stock laminated maple, glass pillar bedded
Dan Lilja no taper straight .900 21 inch Eley EPS match chambered
Anschutz 11mm to Redfield sight base adapter
Redfield Palma 1/4 moa click rear sight with Gehmann 510 adjustable 0.5-3.0mm with Gehmann eyecup
Anschutz .900 collar and 6" extension tube
Anschutz .225 height front sight base
Kimber 18mm front globe
Anschutz 1.8-4.2mm adjustable front iris

the way I put it together and bedded it the rifle shoots and functions like a factory made single shot rifle,,it is very accurate with top end match ammo and is really fun and relaxing to get behind and go head to head with Mother Nature,,if it is not an X Mother Nature won,,

Saturday I pillar bedded my CZ455 walnut stock with the standard barrel. The difference in accuracy is amazing. And to top it off it shot Remington Golden Bullets better than any other ammo but Wolf MT was a close 2nd. The Remington shot about 1/2" with all holes overlapping at a measured 50 yards. Eley Subsonic Hollowpoint didn't shoot well at all nor did CCI Standard. I may glass bed the action and barrel later.

I have a Boyd's Tactical stock and new CZ varmint barrel that I thought I'd swap it into but for squirrel hunting I'm liking what I've got now.
