Now we can use big bore air rifles for deer! I've wanted one for years but couldn't rationalize buying one for the few days I hunt out of state. I mean a decent one costs as much or more than a powder burner. Then you have to have something to fill it easily.
I hunt a LOT in suburban areas. I've always felt that a big bore air rifle would be the quietest and safest weapon to use (besides archery of course). It also opens doors for calling in coyotes that are raiding neighborhoods. Pest control on pests such as raccoons and groundhogs is far easier than trying to hit them in the head with a smaller rifle.
I'm pondering a .357 instead of the .40 and .50 caliber models. Our deer are small in East Tennessee. It would be just about perfect for coyotes too.
