Johnny Stewart 612 Deluxe battery

I have a Johnny Stewart 612 Deluxe predator call, the battery will not hold a charge. I took the unit apart & it has a SW1240 battery. I found them on Amazon for around $10-12 bucks. Anybody ever replaced their batteries with these super cheap ones? Thx in advance for the help, RH

It's the same battery. Just make sure you get the rechargeable one. My battery is the same size, 12v 4ah, you can also get the more common 12v 5ah, if it'll fit in the call. They made the model 612 with many different batteries over the years.
