Good to know. I have never gotten into the color or scent dips or sprays but I feel like I need to. Are you a believer? Sell me on it.

a fish's ability to smell is 1,000 times better than a dog. having said that, i'm not a scent man. bass find their prey by sight or sound first. the last sense activated is smell. i do think fish hold on longer to baits with scent.
its like everything else about fishing, you're gonna do what you're confident with.

Read an article the other day that says bass have "taste buds" on the outside of their mouth. One of the best fishermen I know if not the best uses scents and dyes.

I use the dips on the tails of alot of my soft baits.
It seems to help for sure.

Man bought some jj's when he was at Guntersville a few years ago. He really likes it.

I use whatever it is that walmart sells. I can't remember the name of it.
Chartruese is about all I use.
