Did I read on here not too long ago there is a place you can send a buck's jawbone off to in order to be aged? I think I'd like to do this with one I killed Thanksgiving morning. Thanks in advance.

You can send it off and they will do cementum annuli aging in a lab. I am not sure what the process is to get that done though.

You can also have members tell you by pictures

there is a lab in TX that will do it for $25. That's where I sent my 8.5 y/o buck a couple years ago just for kicks and giggles.

$25 if you are willing to wait till the end of the season for results. The price doubles if you want faster turnaround.

Thanks, man. I have contacted them and yeah I'm in no rush.

Just remember that cementum annuli is no more accurate than the Severinghaus toothwear analysis technique.
