Made the plunge and got an IWB holster a couple of weeks ago. I got a Tagua Soft Style holster for my Ruger SP101 from my local gun shop. So far, I'm liking it, although it's a bit of an adjustment compared to OWB. It is definitely more concealed than OWB, and I like that I can carry more discreetly while wearing shorts and a t shirt. I can see me getting other brands of IWB holsters just for comparison's sake.

Why didn't I do this sooner? :)

How about the Alien Gear IWB holsters? They're pretty inexpensive, seem like good selection.

Funny you mention them, I saw an ad for them online today. They are next on my list to check out.

I use Alien Gear 2.0, and cross breed super tucks for my XD40, XDS9, and S&W Bodyguard. The Cross breed is by far the most comfortable. Only cons with it 1) price (about $100) 2) it will squeak if dont have it on the exact same position on your body every time. The Alien gear 2.0 is comfortable also,The cons,1) I find it a little hotter on hot humid days, 2) I have had the nylon hooks come undone from my belt when moving around alot. They just dont feel as secure as the crossbreed. I do have the extra metal clips to try on the Alien but haven't put them on yet.

I also use Desantis Superfly for the XDS and bodyguard for pocket carry, and have a single point kydex IWB I got off of ebay for the XDS which is surprisingly comfortable.

Crossbreed squeaks?

The way I see it, whatever IWB holster I carry is gonna feel hot on humid days. It's just the Memphis Curse of Humidity.

Now my boots squeaking will drive me crazy. They've done it before. :D
I think Alien Gear makes a holster that has a neoprene backing, that would'nt be too bad.

Thats the 2.0 version I have, if its hot out I just make sure I have a undershirt tucked in behind it. Just try them and see what you like best. The bigger the gun I go more towards the Crossbreed holsters. There are ways to eliminate the squeaking but I have not done it yet, usually cause it stops after fifteen minutes or so.
