Just went to our local Sportsman's Warehouse and I have NEVER seen the shelves as bare as I saw this evening. Folks were coming in and the associates were telling them they have NO handgun ammo, and there were only 3 bottles of odd powders on the shelves period!

Dang.

I was in the local Sportsman's Warehouse last weekend and scored a couple pounds of H4350. Hadn't seen that on the shelves in quite a while. They seemed reasonably stocked, but I could've been there right after a shipment, so it could be gone now.

The one here in Chattanooga had H4350 a couple weeks ago, maybe 8 or so bottles, but they've instituted a "1 bottle per customer" rule. Had to be a lot of people coming in to deplete that entire 2 rows of powder in a couple of weeks, and they apparently aren't getting replacement shipments in lately to restock.

I don't reload so don't know about that stuff but there is PLENTY of factory ammo to be had, just not at the big chain stores. The mom and pop shops are stocked. You just might have to pay a couple bucks more.

Look at AmmoSeek.com it's a search engine for different websites that sell ammo.

Thanks for that rstodd, I don't need any ammo, but reloading supplies are just something I pick up along as I need them, or just trying not to get too low on. ;)

Picked up an 8 pounder H4350 and 2 bricks CCI BR-2 primers. Feel lucky.

The only primer bricks I saw were CCI BR LRP and WLRM primers, and I think there was a brick of mag pistol as well. I started to get a brick of CCI LR BR but I have been using CCI LR 200s and figured they would likely perform a little different from the 200s.

Scored a single lb of AA 4350 yesterday. 1 bottle left on the shelf and they have 1 bottle per person, per day, limits. :bash:
